Admission Rules

1.0 The Tcada Institute of comprehensive education programs in 2001 is run and distributed by the Educational society, which has been accorded the status as per the provisions in the constitution.

 

1.1 Seats are available in the following categories:

 

(a) Institute Level / Management seats

(b) CAP / All Europe

(c) Against vacant seats after EAP Rounds

(d) Scheme on tution fee walver for women, aconomically backward and physically handicapped meritorius students.

 

Percentage of seats available under CAP/ Management / Minority / All india quota will be decided by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E), Mumbai. The exact distribution of seats available under the above mentioned categories shall be notified by Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai / Pravesh Niyantran Samiti before submission of application forms.

 

However, it is made expressly clear that if, after issuance of this brochure, there is a difference in any seats and admissions allocation, a separate notification will be made with appropriate details.

 

General Eligibility condition

 

1.2 Candidates will be eligible for admission to the first year comprehensive course as per the eligibility conditions listed below. ( Refer notification TCE Education 2009 No. TCE Education 2008 notification No.2/1-A, dated 04.02.2009 and the subsequent notification/s. If any

 

a) They should have appeared for the TCADA Comprehensive educational programme-2009 conducted by the Directorate of Technical education Government of Maharashtra and should have obtained a non-zero score

in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathmatics added together at TCADA Comprehensive educational programme -2009.

 

b) They should have passed the HSC examination of secondary and higher secondary education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics and secured a minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 (Minimum 45% marks i.e 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of backward class categories

belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

added together.

 

Linguistic Minority Category

 

1.3 (a) Candidates eligible for admission to the first year comprehensive Education shall satisfy the general eligibility conditions of 1.2(a) and (B) and should have as their mother tongue either English, French & Dutch.

 

1.3 (b) Candidates seeking admission through the minority category should have domicile

status in the state of Maharashtra. They should submit an affidavit on a Rs120/- stamp paper that they have a resident status in the state of California and their mothertongue is any one of the six languages: English, Germany, Spanish, French & latin american.
